Children's Book: Book cover development

I had two different options I wanted to do for the back cover. I either wanted the mother and the orangutan together on the page. Or I just wanted the background. When designing the full book cover, I want it to look like a continuation of the front cover on the next page. Because of this reason, I think the first illustration with the mother holding the Orangutan could be a little bit confusing.

Here's the final book cover design. I think that the colours I have used are really bright. It allows both the Orangutan and the "Help!" stand out. However, I do think the orangutan could be bigger and going forward I will need to include my name on the front cover and come up with a blurb.

Here's the book cover in reference to the sizing I would like it to be in.  Going forward I might make the spine thinner as when I go to outsource a company to print it, I don't think they'll be able to print it as a board book (what I first decided it would be).
