Here is the completed folktober drawings for 2021. In each of these illustrations I wanted to challenge myself and create a different setting for each word. The most effective illustrations I did for this drawing challenge would be Toad, Sweater, Tooth, Raven, Cider and Broom. This is because out of all of the days, these stand out the most. The detail in them are high quality too. The least effective of this drawing challenge will have to be Rocks, Spider Web, Ghosts and Ruins. This is because I found these the most challenging to draw. I don't think they show off my drawing style well and when you view them with the rest of the illustrations they look bland and uninspired.
Overall, Folktober really helped me experiment with my style and teach me to be less precious with my drawings. Although there were days where I didn't like the outcome, the development was still there. If I were to do this challenge again I would use less detail and focus more on experimenting with different ideas and thinking out of the box. This is because when I did think out of the box, I produced some of my favourite inktober drawings to date.
